Offer New Ideas: You bring fresh ways of thinking, practical tips, personal stories, or deep thoughts on common (or new) Islamic topics.

Come from Different Backgrounds: We value many different voices and experiences within the Muslim community. No matter if you're a student, a parent, working, or something else, your unique story matters.

Positive and Encouraging: Focus on solutions, hope, and growth. Your words should make readers feel inspired and able, not overwhelmed or guilty.

Helpful and Actionable: Offer clear, easy-to-follow steps or advice that readers can use in their lives right away.
Respectful and Welcoming to All: Remember that our readers are diverse, from different backgrounds and levels of faith. Promote togetherness and understanding.
Well-Organized: Use clear titles and subheadings, short paragraphs, and lists to make your article easy to read and follow.
How to Send Us Your Work: Important Rules
To make sure everything goes smoothly and we get great content for our readers, please follow these rules carefully:
Your Own Work: Your article must be 100% your own work and not published anywhere else online or in print. It must be written by you.
Length: Your article should be between 1000 and 2000 words. This allows for enough detail while keeping readers interested.
Language: All submissions must be in clear, well-written English.
Content Quality:
Good Start: Begin with something that grabs the reader's attention and clearly states what the article is about.
Well-Checked: If you mention facts, sayings of the Prophet, or verses from the Holy Book, make sure they are correct. If possible, say where they came from (like the name of the saying collection, or Holy Book chapter:verse).
Clear Help: Your article should offer real value and useful advice to the reader.
Strong Ending: Finish with a summary of main points and an inspiring call to action for the reader.
Look and Format:
Use clear headings and subheadings to break up the text.
Use short paragraphs (3-5 sentences at most).
Use lists for easy reading.
Pictures and All:
Please suggest helpful pictures for your article. While we might use our own pictures, your ideas help.
If you give us pictures, they must be good quality (at least 1200 pixels wide for top banners, 800 pixels for inside content), free to use (royalty-free), and you must say where they came from (e.g., Unsplash, Pexels, your own photos).
For each suggested picture, please give a short description (Alt Text). This is a short phrase (max 125 characters) that tells what the picture shows, for people who can't see the picture or for search engines.
Links:
Links to Our Site: Please suggest links to other SoulfulMuslim.blog articles if they naturally fit into your content.
Links to Other Sites: You can include links to good, related websites (like scholarly articles, trusted Islamic websites, non-profit groups). Don't link to things that are just ads or your own products/services inside the article.
Question at End: Include a simple question at the very end of your article to get readers to comment and talk.
About You: Include a short (50-100 words) section about yourself with your submission. This should be written as if someone else is talking about you, and you can include 1-2 links to your website or social media.
No Ads: The article itself should just give information and inspiration, not be an ad for your products, services, or events. Ads only go in your "About You" section.

We will let you know. Then you can write the full article following all the rules above. Please send the final article as a Google Docs link (with editing access) or as a plain text file.
